Zombies will be attracted to you as soon as you start shooting them and they can hear it. I try and upgrade my gun parts rather than repair them if I can.
The 44magnum and sniper rifle seem to wear out fairly quickly though so repair kits and extra gun parts are a good idea. If you can't get the sniper then the hunting rifle is ok but less accurate and no scope/has iron sights. The normal shotgun will do more damage per quality level over the sawnoff and has better accuracy.Īll in all if you want to _upgrade_ from the crossbow then a 44magnum as an all round emergency gun is a good choice as well as a sniper rifle. SMGs are a bit of a waste of ammo for the damage. hunting rifle is ok but sniper is just better. I usually only use this if I need to quickly kill something. 9mm pistol is _ok_ for normal zeds if you want to quickly do head shots to clear 3 to 8 at a time. Put points into the chemical station so you can build one.
